I picked up my crochet hook and created a small blue elephant blanket, stitched slowly and carefully by hand. We came to call her Ellie.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Seeing him holding onto it made me realize how meaningful something so simple could be.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>From there, what began as a one-time gift gently grew. Family and friends began asking for their own handmade pieces to give to the little ones in their lives, each one created with the same care and intention. Over time, those quiet beginnings became The Cozy Corner.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Today, I continue to make each blanket by hand here in Ottawa, taking the time to ensure every stitch is just right. Each piece is made to order, with the hope that it becomes a cherished companion. Something to be held onto through naps, new adventures, and the early years that pass all too quickly.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>I have always believed that when something is made with care, it carries that feeling with it.
